Beijing Sport University (BSU), directly under the General Administration of Sport of China, is one of the key universities in China and also a “211” Project University, a national project initiated in 1995 by the Ministry of Education with the aim of cultivating 100 key colleges for the 21st century. It is the only university that has the Category I discipline of sport science, which is one of the national key disciplines, and also the only sport university selected into the “111 Overseas Intellectual Resource Introduction Program”.
