"*" means necessary documents that you must provide in your application.
If you want to book our translation service, please pay and book it at least 2 weeks before the application deadline for submission of all documents;
If you want to book our guardian service, you need to pay and book it 2 months before the application deadline, just in case your application fails because of failed to submit application documents on time.

1. Applications who are originally Chinese citizens and obtained foreign nationalities afterward should provide the following materials

(1)Valid passport and a certificate before April 30, 2019, for the cancellation of their original registered residence in China and the renunciation of the Chinese nationality should be provided.
(2)The entry and exit seal page of visiting China on the applicant's passport from April 30, 2019, to the time of application.
(3)The proof of residence abroad of at least 2 years by April 30, 2019 (9 months of residence abroad per year may be considered as one year, subject to entry and exit signatures).

2. Applicants should provide the following materials if one of or both of the parents of the applicant are Chinese citizens

(1)Certificate of the applicant obtaining foreign nationality at birth or afterward.
(2)The nationality or household registration certificate of both of the applicant's parents (passport or ID card).
(3)For applicants who obtained foreign nationality at birth, if one of or both of the parents are Chinese citizens and have the permanent residence abroad, a certificate of the corresponding permanent residence needs to be provided. If one of or both of the parents are Chinese citizens but have not obtained the permanent residence abroad, certificate of the withdrawal from Chinese nationality of the applicant needs to be provided.

*3. Original certificate of no criminal record

(1) Applicants currently in China must provide a certificate of no criminal record in China issued by the local exit and entry administration department or public security organ;
(2) Applicants who are not currently in China must provide a certificate of no criminal record issued by the local public security administration.

*5. Passport information page (valid after September 30, 2023)

*6. Recent electronic photo (cap-free, 2-inch size, plain white background)

*7. The transcripts of all senior high school courses in original or as certified copy in Chinese or English

9. Applicants under 18 years old (until June 1, 2023) should provide a notarized guardianship letter valid in China is required

The guardian of the student has to be living in Beijing at present and must have a source of income regardless their nationality is Chinese or not.

*10. CSCA Test Transcript(s)

-You need to take the official CSCA test organized by the Chinese government and submit the corresponding subject result transcript(s) when applying. Learn more about the CSCA test >>
-The test covers Chinese (Humanities and STEM Chinese), Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Mathematics is required for all programs, while other subjects depend on the university’s specific requirements.

Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
